Start with the person.
Your hair, your routine, your point of view. A great cut begins with a conversation about how you want to look and how you actually live.
Hair is personal.
So is the way
you create it.

A global perspective.
A very Pittsburgh soul.
Derek’s career has taken him from the salon floor to stages across the United States, South America, Europe, India and Canada. Along the way, he has trained artists for seven leading hair brands and helped shape the way hairdressers learn their craft.
His experience includes Wella Professionals’ North America Signature Artist Team and the role of North America Manager of Technical Capabilities at Aveda / Estée Lauder.
Today, that experience finds a home at Craft Collective Salon Group: a space for creativity, collaboration and thoughtful, personal hair.

Individuality is the point.

Good hair starts
with seeing the
person.
From the chair to the classroom.
From knowing how to understanding why.
